Di-PE is a white, odorless and crystalline powder. It is no poison to animal, no stimulate to skin, no pollution to environment. Purity¡¯s melting point 221-222.5℃.Di-PE is slightly soluble in water, but little soluble in most organic solvent, It can react with organic material and turn into ester. Di-PE usually consists of a little mono-PE and Tri-PE. So its hydroxyl value is between 38 -40.

Mainly used as the material for Alkyd resin , rosin esters ,Printing inks and fire-retardant etc.

Usage:
The pentaerythritol is raw material of alkyd resin, paint and coating used in making cold-hot resistant and non-toxic plasticizer, lubricant additive, emulsifier, petroleum antifreeze, polyvinyl-chloride stabilizer, chlorinated polyether, refractory paint, glossy black products. Becoming tetranitro pentaerythritol responsed with the nitric acid and is high explosive.
